Miles per the Gallon

for 98-02 Honda Accord 4 cyl sedan ... How many miles per gallon is the normal for this car.. cuz I do 300 miles for 15 gallons and i think it's not good at all.. let me know what's wrong with my car ?? thanks

Automatic or standard?

I drive mostly highway, and depending on the season, will range on average between 430 and 480 between fillups. I once did 520 to the gas light driving straight from South Carolina (Clemson) to just north of Cincy, Ohio. I used to make it over 500 regularly, but my gas light quit working, so now I don't risk it and fill between 430 and 480 (usually around 14 gallons)... Oh, and mine is a 5-speed, if you didn't know already...

I average 400 to a tank. i4 auto

I average 400-420 on a tank. I4 5 speed, I know I need new plugs and wires and cap and rotor.

before i got my cat changed, i was barely getting 300 miles from 14 gallons.

damn, u guys have pretty good mileage. i do not know what happen to my car cause i got around 112 miles for half tank, and i konw exactly something's happened..

for us recieving less than 350 per tank, what do yall recommend? new cat? o2 sensor?

god damn i'm only making like 330 to a tank, but my plugs and wires haven't been changed for 7 years its about time...
