It's got more supportive seats than my Accord, can't hate that.

Agree with CB about the dash/interiors......but at least there are some options to make it more palatable.

As difficult, time consuming, and painful as "replacing part by part with new" sounds-- I know it's going to be awesome. Are you going to keep this color or go with something new?

I love the white. But we will see what will happen in the future.

'Bout time, I was waiting for this thread to open up. Looks good and danggg you been puttin work in son. Couldve had the accord turboed lol.

Thanks

Nah I lost interest in the accord.

I don't see the plan where an Audi engine is getting dropped in.

You forgot to mention that??

VW and Audi use quite a bit of the same parts, but I'll be sticking with the 2 litre 16v valve engine with a cam. maybe a VR6 swap in the future. Maybe

I really like the front end of this car. This car has cleaned up nicely for being 20+ years old, I am excited to see where it goes. What trim level is it (GL, GLI, VR6)? Or did VW have trims back then?

Its a GL I converted to GLI

I think this will be Matt in the near future

Lol who knows

I love the squarer body styles, from the late 80's to late 90's, I would buy one, if they weren't so damn old hahaha

Looks really great thought Matt, cleaning up nicely.
Thanks man. I love the old square euro cars

^I love boxy euro cars too, the only thing I hate about them is the dash. Not a bright spot for 80's cars in general, lol.

For example, the e30 is awesome. But the interior is just so bad.

The factory Recaro interior on this thing isn't bad though, considering.
Idk... I like the dash

YES! I love this thing :badger:

The factory Recaro interior is very rare. The seats are very comfortable
