my car WONT GO PAST 4000 rpm

hey guys , my car wont go past 4000 rpm , the check engine light came on and i pluged in the scan tool and it was the o2 sencor so i fixed it but know its back on and the car idels at really low rmp and it will not go past 4000rpm.????

Whats the code? could be a variation of things though. Does the car go into limp mode?

clogged cat. Had the same problem. how many miles you got? i think mine went out right around 115k miles. i couldn't go past 50 mph without the car wanting to sputter to a stop.

*ding ding ding* highly possible that your cat is out and is clogged up.. same exact thing happened to me. mine went out around 112k

go get it checked out asap

car 01-02? those go into limp mode with a CEL. and will stay in until the problem is fixed and the ECU is reset
