can anyone tell me if this thing is broken or is it normal for the orange stick to be there when it unplug????

i think its ok because in my civic my tach sat at 6k after i tuned off the car

maybe you should just test it?

temporaily wire it and see if it works? compare with stock tach?

I think the only reason that our tach's don't do that is be cause we have a plastic pin that stops the needle from going where yours is sitting right now. I'd be willing to bet as soon as you turn it on, it'll show what its supposed to, assuming that its not supposed to have the plastic pin. Either that, or its missing that little piece(which i doubt)
