Dropping in to say hey. These forums have been a lot of help with my 02 v6 coupe. Recently I added a 98 ex-vl to the driveway, and as it's sort of a spare car I get to tinker around with this one (already looking at the J32 6 speeds).

If I'm going to being that kind of fiddling, I figured it was time to register, so y'all can help save me if I blow anything up too badly.

Welcome to 6GA. Whoa... Great first post. J32 6Speed is a very nice route to go. Lots of threads on here about builds and all the parts you need for a 6 speed swap. Can't wait to see the progress! Wish I had money

Take some pics and post em. And get around to making a Member's ride page. That way you can update your progress and keep up with all the money you've spent hahaha

J32 6Speed is a very nice route to go.

Well I really got thinking about it after buying the '98. I paid a pretty decent sum for my '02, in 2004, and I was happy to do it. Since I only paid $3k for the '98, wouldn't I be happier dropping ten grand on top of it over a year or so, than buying a 13k used car? Definitely, I think. That and a good look at the J30A1 has me thinking engine swap. After all, I could bolt $4k worth of toys onto the J30 and still not match the J32A2, so...what the heck, right?

At least I hope I'm right. I could be horribly overestimating my mechanical ability, and end up with a smoldering heap in the driveway.

At any rate, here's my baby, the '02 EX-VL coupe in Nighthawk. No decent pics of the green '98 yet, I'll have to remedy that.

Tardy to the party... the 1998 exvl coupe in dark green, with some mad rim rash...guess the PO wasn't much of a parker.
