Hey everyone my names AJ. I have a Honda accord 2000 V4 sedan and have a manual climate control. I purchased some T4's of eBay to install in the climate controls although they did not work. They stuck in there but never turned enough for it to work. Was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers or which bulbs may be better to use for such a installation.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site. Lots of info on LED conversions here, take a look at the below. More can be found using the search function above. I have an auto unit so I don't want to speak in error for the manual.

Hey my name is AJ too! Welcome to the site. Read through the LED conversions that RedRyder posted.

My 2 cents...
I have auto-climate controls so it may be different, I want to just state that the LEDs I got were a very tight fit and would not turn/twist at all (T4 and T5). However, they did make contact and light up without issues some of them I had to take out and flip around. The polarity is directional on most LED bulbs, I would try to pry them out and flip them around. Make sure you test the funtion before you put everyting back together. You may just have crappy LEDs from ebay.

I got mine from two sources:

http://www.precisionled.com - I used the kit for interior lighting (Dome, map, doors, trunk and liscence plate) - all white

http://www.superbrightleds.com - Purchased individual bulbs (gauges, cruise button, sunroof buttons, climate control and clock) - all red

superbrightLEDs - red (I have reverse glow gauges) It looks like there are alot of hot spots but its just the camera, everything is nice and even.

Good luck. I love how everything turned out.

Re: New to this. Need help

That's embarrassing I did that haha. Changed my username for that same reaso and thanks for all your help with that. I switched the dome doors map and trunk. Still tough to figure out how to install the license plate led. Looks like the light is really secured in there from the back

Also I had the same issue with the T4s they go it and they are a very tight squeeze to get in there but they don't work each way. It seems like that they do not fully turn which is the issue. So the wires are in the wrong angle. Not sure how to fix that
