I have replaced the IACV on the H22A-R CL1, but I'm having issues with running rough on intial cold start. This morning it decided it didnt want to start at all.
Question I have, is there a difference in the IACV Solenoids. The original one had a "Purple" Denso stickered solenoid with the number 14 on it, the replacement has a "Green" Denso stickered solenoid with the number 17 on it. I have tried replacing the green solenoid with the purple one, and the initial cold start was perfect. Unfortunately it instantly threw a CEL for the IACV, (to be expected since thats why it was replaced) then when it warmed up a little it went back to a hunting idle again. (Another reason why the IACV was replaced)
Should I try find another purple stickered IACV, or just put up with the bad starts that the Green Stickered IACV gives me??
