odometer mod ?

is there such thing or is it possible to make a switch or something to stop your odometer ? this guy i knew said that his bro did that to his car and only haves like 5.000 miles on it and had the car since 2000. guy turns it on once in a blue. just wondering if this is possible ?

its def not posible the computer comtrols that so even if u swap out the cluster it will still read the same
