We are scheduling a Pre-meet in the Desoto area to do a drive down to Austin.

Some Guidelines:
1. Please obey the speed limit on the highway.
2. No racing each other, we don't want anyone to get hurt during this drive down.
3. If you have an emergency, pull aside and wait for help from fellow members.
4. HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS =)

Somewhere along the line we will discuss the drive back home. Just trying to get this rolling. Updates to come.

Try and see if you can find someone /people that work for hotels. My sons mother works for the marriot and she gets 40 percent off on room rates. Just an idea. Wish I could go, sounds exciting....

should have edited the hotel part out, there is a caravan coming from dallas and it was meant for that, i'm not worried about the hotel situation, i have friends and family

Man I was just wondering when I could actually go to a meet, but its coming to my city I feel excited like a school girl.:roy: If you guys need anything down here let me know and Ill help as much as possible.

Mike knows im going already...i wanted to come over here to see if anyone was talking about it...

there are also good hotel fares as they are having a special at ramada so prices arent high.....hope to see many there!!

p.s.- if anyone wants to join the car club i have, that has some DA members including a CCM Mod. let me know...name is NTA North Texas Accords a very involved club...will be involved with community and also many meets and events in the metroplex area.

Thanks for posting this one up guys. Their has been some updates that you might want to include. We now have an actual location. A parking garage in fact. We have the whole garage reserved and if that's not enough, theirs suppose to be a auto parts store next to it and we have permission to use it as well.

Yeah, Baton Rouge is a bit of a drive for an Austin meet. Maybe when we get around to doing one in Houston would shave some time off for ya.
