This happened to me 3 weeks ago.. You might have fixed this already but heres some help for anyone else experiencing the same problem.
1st. check fans if both work:
Check fuses. Then if only one works plug the working plug into the other fan to check if it works also.
2nd check if t-stat is working:
feel top and bottom hoses from radiator, both should be hot if your engine was run. If not t-stat is bad (replace immediately!)
3rd Check for coolant leak.
Go to autozone and rent a coolant pressure tester. connect pump to specified psi and if needle begins to lower you have a coolant leak. (hopefully its not internal, or get ready to shell out some cash)
4th Check Temperature Sensor (this is what was wrong with my car)
