Thanks everyone for your opinions - I was afraid most would hate it or something but I'm glad you agreed it's not a bad change. I just picked up a new set of rubbers for it - Pirelli P Zero Nero's 215/45-17 front & 225/45-17 rear, I also lowered it a bit more; I think it looks better than the pics i posted so I'll shoot a pic tomorrow and post an update. Peace!

Not only did I like the old rims much better, I can't believe you'd take off the big brakes just to put these on.

I mean, it's your car, and the new wheels certainly don't look bad - but IMO I would have kept it as it was before. To me it looked better, and definitley stopped better.

Honestly, I've always liked 17" on 6GA's - I founds these... so I sacrificed. I may do a 5 lug conversion and these rims will still fit! :)
