i think im gonna go buy a d7100 this week

been trying to figure out what to do with my D90. resale value sucks ($300 or less) but i don't see a real reason to keep it either

well i was supposed to have friday and sat off but now i'm working friday and getting tomorrow off. I guess im stuck buying the camera tomorrow

welcome to the world of filterless sensors

my K-3 still has an AA simulation mode in case moire pops up it did in a video i took with my K-01 earlier, which has a weak AA filter.

bit the bullet and bought the nikkor af-s 85mm f/1.8G before the sale ends tomorrow. I was using the nikkor 70-210mm f/4 (constant) (made in 1985 before ED glass was invented) with the D90 but with a 24mp camera the 70-210 is just useless.

professional telephotos are way too expensive and i don't care for the entry level telephotos so i think the 85mm prime is a great compromise
