plastic headlight eyelids

has Anyone on here with plastic eyelids had any difficulties with adhesion?

I recently purchased a set and reinforced the doublesided tape that they use on the back with some double sided ductape brand tape and put em on, thought that would hold up, however they ended up coming off. I used alcohol to clean the surface of contact on the headlight prior to sticking them one too.....

After losing one side on the highway i bought another pair which just arrived today. Does anyone know the trick to getting them to stay on?

+1 this is what i used on mine and my brothers eyelids, they've been on for almost a year now with no issues.

thts what i used only i let the tape heat with the sun light so that way it wrks better
