or at least point my in the right direction
sorry i don't kno much about polishin:confused:

Polish? Like polish finish?

Usually strip with aircraft paint stripper, wetsand 1000 grit, wetsand 1500 grit, wetsand 2000 grit, mother's metal polish

lol thanks. my friend wantss to do his tsx stock rims
idk if i should do mines looks like a pain in the @$$ lol

From MNHondas.com (supposedly another dude is posting a full DIY tonight):

Before:

AirCraft remover:

1000 Grit wetsand:

1500 grit wetsand:

Then do 2000

Then polish with Mothers Mag/Aluminum polish

You have to clear coat them or polish them weekly.

Final product (from a different member who's posting the DIY):

So yeah... sand, sand some more, polish, polish some more.

now i see em...

the upkeep is what's keeping me from doing any polishing, even though i love polished stuff and have some polished things...

you either have to polish them regularly...every couple weeks to every few months, depending on climate...

or clear coat them and hope the clear holds up. the clear on my stock rims is totally messed up.

actually, the main reason i haven't done it is due to the deep scratches the previous noob owner put into the rims :dunce:
