what is crank walk? i don't get the walking crank thing with the DSM.

On the 2g motors (mostly) its some kind manufacturing defect with the thrust washers that causes them to not get enough oil and they get worn and fail and that causes the crank to wobble or "walk", causing more bearing failure and eventually ruining the block.

^It's also often times misdiagnosed as a clutch related problem. The crank will slide over and the flywheel follows, causing the clutch to not engage.
