Problem with HID kit..

Howdy all,

I just received my 9006 HID kit and i'm not able to get the unit to come on. This kit is just the low beams.

I have the + wire hooked up the to battery, and the negative grounded to the body frame. I have disconnected the bulbs to the high beams and connected the adapter thingy to the stock low beam connector. All other connections are how they are supposed to be as far as i can tell.

Any ideas on what to do?

if u did could be your ballast are bad.

Hmm..i doubt they both wouldn't work though. I had the same problem in my Neon, i had to play with it for awhile and then they came on.

I've tried everything i did with the Neon and i still couldn't get 'em to come on. I'm gonna try to reinstall it tomorrow and see if it works.

Make sure the pins in the connectors are inserted fully.

Did it come with fuses in the wiring at all? If so, check those. Also, try and see what happens if you ground it the battery's - terminal? Really shouldn't make to much of a difference, but it's worth a try.
