problem with sound system

Then you have a short in your RCA. It could be a screw through the wire, or pinched. Get another set and run them over the seat to make sure. Once you are positive, then hide it!!

update:

purchased new remote wire and rca cables. ran another amp. light goes green.

hooked everything up, no bass still my last conclusion is my radio, something must got messed up with rca output.

Do you only have one output on the radio? If not see if the other one would work, even though it may not be the perfect way.

Im having pritty much the same problem. My subs cut in and out whenever they feel like it, and when they do cut out, the protection light goes on on the amp. I dont know what to do, I like the bass!

at least yours cut back on. my situation is they cut off 3 months ago and never cut on. i ran a whole new amp, rca's, and remote. light on amp goes green but still no bass.
