Hello ladies and germs...

Just wanna begin by saying I did search so no need to flame me and say search :chucklesfawk:

The air filter on my intake needs to be changed BADLY (bought the SRI couple days ago). I think it's way past being able to be cleaned and it seems like the previous owner had it wedged between something in his engine bay (i'll post pics when i get home)

I am trying to look for the long neck air filter (21-201) but AEM discontinued them. They have the short-neck filter which I think will have fitment issues.

The K&N replacement filters would not clear my battery I think - again due to the short neck.

Anyone else have this issue when they were replacing their air filter on the AEM SRI? And what are my options?

I will snap a pic of the set-up when I get home. (Accord is I4)

Pics: Excuse the dirty engine bay.

Hope they help get my point across as far fitment is concerned.

I'd like to keep my battery where it is... and I think that people have done this without re-locating the battery.

Thanks for the input though.

....cant you just "recharge" the air filter aka clean it and spray it with the oil?

I was thinking of doing this... but the filter looks SO dirty (that i do not think it was ever cleaned) and it also looks mangled

Like I said i think he had it wedged between something

My friends took a look at it and were like WOW that needs to be changed YESTERDAY (dont know if theres even a point in cleaning it)

You can order the replacement on AEM's website. I did this maybe 2 weeks ago.

Question: You are talking about the DRYFLOW filter, right?

Yeah I'm talking about that filter. You had no issues with the battery getting in the way?

Not sure why AEM decided to discontinue the long-neck filters.
