Ok, so today i went to the muffler shop to see if they can come up with some sort of modifications to the exhaust pipe that is hanging real low. So they ended up making a custom pipe for me in the middle, but its not stainless steel. Will this have any affect on anything, i think its ceramic. And also once they finished all of a sudden my CEL light came on and went back to them and they said that they did nothing to it because they didnt work near the cat. I went to get it scanned and apparently it says that its bank 1 o2 sensor failure, the person reset the code and hasn't came up. When i would rev the car in park and stop revving the car violently shakes at the end at times. Should i replace the 02 sensor even though the light hasnt came on after there reset and what could be the issue for the vibration while revving? Thanks

Anyone might know what the issue may be, cause my cel light has been coming on and off and is now stayed on.

What was the actual code that you had read? ie. P0123

O2 Heater circuit related codes include P0036, P0037, P0038, P0042, P0043, P0044, P0050, P0051, P0052, P0056, P0057, P0058, P0062, P0063, P0064 & P0141 etc

O2 Sensor related codes include P0130, P0131. P0132. P0133, P0134, P0135, P0136, P0137, P0138, P0139, P0140, P0142, P0143, P0144, P0145, P0146, P0147, P0150, P0151, P0152, P0153, P0154, P0155, P0156, P0157, P0158, P0159, P0160, P0161, P0162, P0163, P0164, P0165, P0166 & P0167 etc

Which one was yours?

P0141: Malfunction in Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) Heater circuit

I'm assuming you have a ULEV then seeing you are in California.

I'd say check the wires on the sensor side/plug side to make sure everything is ok.
Clear you CEL one more time by reseting the ECU (pull fuse 13 i believe(clock back up fuse) or pull negative battery terminal for 30seconds)
If the CEL comes back on with the same code then you might just need to change out the sensor as from what i know main reasons that will throw that code is a bad sensor or a short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors

What pretty much happens is as your car enters closed loop the ECU checks based on the coolant temperature how long it takes before the sensor begins operating properly. As the O2 reaches proper operating temps, the o2 responds by oscillating between lean and rich based on oxygen content of the exhaust surrounding it. If the ECU sees that its a longer time compared to what the set time range is on the ECU it'll set the code.

Could it be they pulled/tugged on something and hence pulled a wire somewhere...?? possibly causing it to be exposed and short somewhere?
