LOL! Over between Sawmill and 315S on 270. They actually use planes to clock cars. Now when u get clocked by a plane ur ****ed. After hearing a few of those stories I only speed there when its cloudy lol.

i have never gotten a speeding ticket with my radar detector (cobra 9700 models) i have gotten lots without having it in my car. but now im neutered, no more 15+ on highways. speed limit or 5 over the entire way, except when i race

lol yeah radar detectors have saved me plenty of money. They X50 paid for itself within a month and still going strong. If you actually have a good one (bellstronic, escort, or valentine) They'll save you're *** every time. They're the most advanced radar detectors on the market to date. Though roomer has it that KU band is comming out here in the US in a year or so.. SO everyone without a valentine or bellstronic STi will get a ticket regardless lol becuase currently there are no other detectors that support the KU band.

Though Ka is 99.9% a cop, K - 40% chance of being a cop depending on the signal strength, X - 30% - 40% chance becuase it is considered to be the least used radar band out of all of them, but like I said it all depends on the signal strength. Laser - 90% becuase new electronics, airport equipement let off small amounts of lasers, or interference to set off your RD. POP 75% becuase it is falsely detected by other radar detectors that emit small amounts of K, X, and Ka bands of radar which will signal your radar detector to go off. i have an old $70 Cobra. very small one. it saved me everytime. never got a ticket in my whole life (knock on wood). but i think the only way to use a radar detector is only if you know how to use it. several of my friends who has radar detectors was like "wtf, i don't see no cops" but it was just a local store.

the best way for me to avoid being caught is, know your police cop cars. there are SEVERAL unmarked police cars here in Oklahoma. the only way to detect them is by their hubcaps. i can tell between a gangsta impala to an actual cop car. secondly, this is my strategie on the highway. when you see a car passes by you REALLY quick, i would follow them about 6 cars length away. supposely, that car will either brake when he sees a cop OR if his radar went off. by then, i will have more than enough time to slow down so the cop won't trigger the gun at me. this has worked for me several times.

for the times i'm almost caught, i would run into a neighborhood and wait about a whole 10 minutes. LOL! but yea it's true, i never got a ticket before. wish me luck so i can have a no-ticket record when i'm 21! (i just turned 20).

One cop can't easily poll both of us over before the other slows down. But then again the X50 does great detecting the Ka band. If it detects Lazer your ****ed no matter what you do. By then its pretty much will the cop pull you over or not.

just wondering, does anyone know that a police helicopter could figure out how fast you are going? i work at this asian supermarket where there's this retired/on duty police officer to patrol the supermarket. he said that, a helicopter could figure out how fast you are going (mostly on the highway) and he could radio someone on ground to catch you? i thought that was interestin'.

They have a program that can figure it out very easily. We did a lab in calculus that the police use to determine speed from Planes and Heli's. Its very interesting...all they need is a calculator with a program lol.

Actually, if one cop was to pull over 2 guys or girls racing, they both have to stop. If one stop but the other runs, the cop will let the one that stopped go, but the one that run, the cop will follow them. Proven fact.

cop can still pull both you guys over if it looks like you guys are racing. but not only they would give you a ticket for speeding, it will be wreckless driving also which in Oklahoma, it's over 500+ for wreckless driving.

ebay. i found out Whistler is better than Cobra. LOL. but if you want the good one, find Passport Escort or Valentine One.

spend the cash and get a valentine 1, its the only one that will tell you which direction the radar/laser is comming from. I'm not sure about the others, but it also tells you how many radar/laser sourses there are. My Valintine 1 has saved me quite a few time and has paid for itself in just one year.

if your on a budget or dont wanna shell out 100 extra bucks for the arrows, get a escort passport 8500 x50, its been so good to me. saved me from laser last week, and saved me from countless other tickets. paid for itself many times over already, and only ticket i ever have gotten was for running a red (even though i ran a yellow) and it picked up a pop signal which i thought was false and ignored. i cant justify 100 bucks for arrows, because if you get a signal, your gunna slow down whether its left, right, behind, or in front of you, and if you really wanna know where it is its pretty easy to figure out depending on how fast the signal intensifies or detensifies.
