Random noise when turning.

So i was driving around today and heared a slow grinding noise that skipped when i turned left or right. I took a quick look and everything looks normal. I had the front pads and rotors replaced last month. Has this happened to anyone???

axles. but that would be a long shot that both go bad. check your fluid. maybe a bearing? maybe your rack and pinion? maybe you're crazy.

Is it more of a high pitch squeal sound?

No high pitch. It's a faint sound. All the fluids are good. Axles are good. The bearing where replaced a year ago. Going to check the rack and pinion tomorrow.

checked everything and it looks good. i dont see any fresh metal at all. i have no clue now.

its only when i turn. im taking it back to where i got the brakes done. someone said that a caliper might have hung up.

my plymouth did this over the summer, turned out to be the passenger lower ball joint and control arm, literally being ground into the rim.
