i'm off for winter break, so i had some time to red-out my taillights. i'm a student with no money so this is basically the only mod i can afford for the time being.

like the title says, i red-out my tails the legal way.. the way it should be done :D. i know there's a few of you *ahem* who are too lazy to do cut outs for the reverse lights. it was tough at first as i went through 3 cut outs, but i finally got it..

edit] i'd highly recommend doing the cut outs before you apply the vinyl because there's a good chance you'll cut through and scratch up the taillight.. which was what i did. i tried a light incision first but the cutout just wasn't coming out.. then i tried to go over the cutout again.. and scratchhhhh, i left a couple of nice streaks. so yeah just be careful if you plan on doing cutouts after applying the vinyl

enough talk..

too lazy to do cut outs? hahaha yea, ok. it just looks better without cutting out a section for the reverse lights. as long as youre not backing up in front of a cop, im sure youd be fine.

they look good tho. how did you do them?

haha thanks. well i'm not willing to take those chances, since i'm broke as hell right now. and i just took a piece a cardboard, cut to whatever shape i wanted and then traced over the pieces of vinyl.

thanks and yeah they do look stock, but better than the amber corners

i got mine from ebay.. 24 x 12 sheet should do you plenty

lol har har.. but really you'll cut through the vinyl and scratch up the surface.. which was what i did. the vinyl is pretty thin. so i'd recommend cutting before you apply the vinyl

Looks pretty damn good man... I'm diggin the all red look more and more!

hell yeah, looks 10x better than the amber corners and pink reverse

i like but too bad im getting red/clear from ebay later haha

yeah i like red/clears too but this was cheaper lol

Hmmm...they look nice, glad you're happy with them.

haha yeah thanks man.. how's the car coming along? i saw your latest update with last week.
