Removing the silver trim or painting it black?

yeah i was wondering anybody here ever done it? its that chrome strip that goes around the windows kinda like an outline of the car, i seen it on bimmer forums where they pull it out and pant it black, i was thinking if that was possible for our cars? and how would it look?

I'm with you on that one Andy.. I did one half of my car with the black tape just to see how it would look, and it made an EX look like a DX! lol

its easy to pull off. open the doors and one or two screws holding it on then just clips. take it off scuff and paint. simple as that. but im not a big fan of it imo.

Trim brite blackout tape! I personally prefer it to be blacked out lol.. just not diggin' the chrome

lol like andy told me before, use some elec tape and then c if u like it or not haha.
