Dont get me started! I got custom brackets made so they sit low. They bold in where the stock seats bolt in so I can pull them out if need be. Im going to look into seeing what I would need to do for them to work first
Bilal is the only one I know of that has done that swap, and I don't know if there is full info posted about the rails or what custom work may have been needed to get it to fit.
I have bought Chris/BoyWonder's seats. My car is an 01 and has side airbags. SRS light is on and I believe I know why.
OEM passenger seat have sensors, (which are possibly switches) that will make the side airbag light go on if the passenger is leaning on the door, disabling them.
The RSX seats don't have those sensors, leaving a 4 pin female connector alone in the dark.
What I would need to figure out is how to bypass the signal is the electrical diagram of the passenger seat's SRS system and possibly the description and operation. This info is probably avalaible on AllData/Michell/OnDemand, but I don't have access to this information. I don't want to try anything before I see what I'm working with.
Couldn't find them on the web. The diagram is missing on this page
If anybody has it or knows how to do it, please share this knowledge with us.
