Everything still seems smooth as butter. Haven't noticed any slipping. It's still a great car. Also, I'm still paying it off to my parents (first owners), but the final price was $4,000.

You know, I find it pretty pathetic that these cars have such issues with the paint.

I understand that they are late 90's/early 2000 vehicles, but really, Honda, you couldn't do better with the paint......:buttkick:

It really is bad. And its even worse that Honda of America never issued a formal recall for the Accords, like they did with the 03-05 Odyssey's, and 06-07 Civics. Honda loves to cheap out and use less clearcoat then it should, which ends up biting them in the rear later on down the road.

Well, I got my car back, it looks fantastic. Although I'm going to remove the Anzo headlights, and clean up the the OEM's and put them back on. Fitmit issues with the Anzo's is bugging me a lot.

That is good to hear, shame about the paint. My black one was resprayed by Macco...never again...im glad my current one (white) has great paint. The brighter colors seem to have better paint durability. 4k is pretty good considering the mileage, i payed 5,500 cash for mine

Same here. My car's paint was pretty pathetic when I bought her too. Glad yours came out well.
