One of the small metal pieces on the metal harness of my driver seat broke a while ago and had it welded back at a local shop, but it's broken again after two weeks.
My leather seat is still good. Anyone know if the metal harness can be removed from the leather seat or is it one piece?
A number of junkyards are selling the whole seat for $100, but I found one shop that is selling the rare blue leather seat for $50. I only need the metal under the seat and can save myself the extra money for something else. I just need to know if the metal harness can be replaced with just nuts and bolts without breaking and welding things back.
I don't want to pay 50 and then another 100 after finding out it's not possible.
