This Holiday Inn Express just went threw a remodeling job about a year ago. So it should be nice.

I think Holiday Inn Expresses are suppose to be nice, but they might vary. I'm cool with Hampty Hamps.

Where did all of us stay in Memphis? I thought it was a Holiday Inn Express. So many weird things in that hotel

So a checked out prices on the hotels....

Motel 6

Pros: online price was only $47 per night
Con's: currently being renovated, online reviews aren't great, no breakfast, its a motel 6

Holiday inn

Pros: free hot breakfast, check out time isn't till noon, recently renovated, free wifi I think
Con's: if I remember correctly , price was $235 for two nights including tax

Hampton inn was $35 more per night than holiday inn


Personally, I'd prefer the holiday inn

Anyone going that has done their own EGR/IACV clean out?

I need to do mine, so, if there was someone who has done it before that was willing to help me out with that, I would make sure to bring the necessary tools/products.

I cleaned out the egr port on the intake manifold on the 4 banger

You're just all kinds of helpful, Jon! This is going to work out great. Just have to make sure I can get things together to make it down. So far, looking good.

I should probably do mine before as well, and I may end up doing that, but just in case, wanted to see if there was anyone who has done it.

Still need to get my hands on a heat gun.

If we are having an EGR cleaning party, then I'm in for that as well! I'll bring whatever we need chemicals wise, and I probably need to clean my IACV and reattach the plug on it, since I've been driving it around unplugged...

no worries. if he doesnt find one i'll just stop by harbor freight. theirs probably costs less than it would to ship one
