Side mirror for sedan interchangable with the one for coupe?

Hi, guys:
I'm looking for a passager side mirror for my 99 coupe. After some googling, I found out it's much easier to buy the side mirror for a 4dr sedan(they have my color). I'm justing wondering if they are interchangable?? they DO have different part number though. thx

No they're not interchangeable. You have to get one for a coupe.

thx, man. got one from ebay for 35+shipping. Now the problem is how can I change the old one out? do I need to remove the door panel?? thx

No, just pop the triangular piece of plastic off and remove the nuts on the bolts.

My mirrors dont stay locked in placed, passenged ones folds forwards and backwards with braking and accel.

yes, you need to pop off at least a little of the door panel to be able to get to the wiring.

damn ebay seller gave me a 97 mirror..... I'm stuck again....... so what exactly is the different between the side mirror for 2dr and the one for 4dr? it's a lot easier for me to find one for 4dr and even in same color. If it can fit somehow, I'm willing to give it a try
