They don't look at all like 100% crops to me. Can't really tell sharpness without peeping at the crops, but the lens looks like a lot of fun.

It seems like you should be getting a lot shallower DOF on shots like 1, 2, 3.

Yea, It seems like the depth of field is actually narrower at 1.8 than it is at 1.4, but maybe its just me...

Too me it seems like all of the large aperture photos should have a much shallower DOF than your pictures. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to shooting with a telephoto...
