slight grinding noise from the rear

Trying to diaganos a noise I been hearing coming from the rear of my car, I get a slight grinding noise when the wheels are moving...I'm assuming it maybe my drums? But don't wanna go forward with it b4 I get some more ideas what it may be? Anyone have any ideas?

does it get worse or better as you go faster?

worse: wheel bearing
better: brake(s)

without actually being there to hear it, that would be my guess. unfortunately, drum brakes arent easily visually inspected without actually taking the drum off of the hub :lawl:

and how many miles are on the shoes?

if they're stock, one shoe could be wearing unevenly because of buildup or a weakened spring...80k is about that time for city-driven brakes...though drums should last a little longer.

grab a hammer and take a look...thats the best way of knowing (and a bigger hammer is better :lawl:)...
