the fouler trick wont make his cat unclogged. thus, his car will still run like dick and hell be out $40.

i got my cat from napa. its nothing great, but it was cheap and immediately available.

hes talking about gutting the cat :ughrun: then use the fouler trick

OH! How does that usually happen?

A cat will deteriorate over time, especially if your running rich and unburned fuel is reaching the honeycomb, it will corrode and eventually break up and clog.

It happens normally from heat,moister and time I speculate.

After driving, look underneeth your car where the Cat. is.

You should see it glowing red. If its not glowing it might be something else.

Oil level is good, no leaks or other sounds??

With no where for the hot exhaust to go, it builds up heat in the cat, making it really hot...therefore...tada...it glows red.

This isn't rocket science.
