As long as you go with a 225/40R18" tire, then your spare tire will be around the same size

When I get the 18's I'm going with 225/40R18 tires so would my stock 15" tire be find to use as a quick replacement?

Seriously? Your spare tire will work just fine. Since your spare tire will work just fine then yes your stock 15" tire and wheel will work.

If I ever get a flat, Its call my buddy pick up my other set of tires at my place and come down with a jack and tire wrench

Man, spare tires are a load of BS. They are meant doe driving from where you got a flat to a tire shop, not to drive around on for a week.

That's the reason I carry the full size spare, so I can drive around for a while if I have to.
