i'd say just get 18", or you might regret it later.

i had 17's with a polished lip - polished lips always make wheels look smaller than they really are. well, usually at least

Yeah, that's why i'm really not sure if i want to go with mesh wheels. They pretty much need to be 18's. And weight is a factor, as is money, and those two don't equal what i'm looking for, especially in 18's. I don't mind waiting though, just opens more options and lets me save.
