so i bought the car and the stock alarm dsnt work .i ddnt get the remote to it either..and my security light dsnt come on either im pretty sure it shud have alarm if its a 2001 ex..so what do u guys think are my best options

take the door panel off and see if the LED is hooked up?
or...roll down the drivers window then lock. wait a few minutes then pull up on the lock. that should set it off.

do u have the stock alarm remmote?? alot of times with cars u just get from delerships, it is set to valet mode so it kinda shuts it off... if u find the alarm box under the dash, there is a pinhole to reset it
no i dnt have the remote i ddnt get it wen i bought it and thers ben a handful of stolen cars lately so i just need it to go off wen or if they open it until i can afford a good alarm..so its under the dash??

I can't find my OEM alarm. Where else would it be? Can someone take a picture of the alarm brain? It's for my 2000 Accord Coupe EX manual
