stock stereo

I have the stock stereo that came with my 99 accord ..it has the cd player and radio..my question is ...is it possible to hook up a sub to the stock stereo..does it have rca jacks in the back of it for hook up?..i would check myself but cant get it out.

Yes it's possible, it won't give you the max output in sound quality as an aftermarket deck will but it works.

I used to have it for my old setup, stock deck + 2 12inch subs with a 800 watt amp, stock door speakers. Everytime a cell phone would be near the deck or I turned it off, the subs would start hitting with no music. Like some sort of frequency jump or something, it was whack. Don't know if it was due to installation or the stock deck but just fyi.

yeah search next time....

stock stereos dont have RCA output in the back....

i once had my infinity hooked up to stock stereo....
to do this, you need all the stuff you would need to hook up subs in general + high to low converter..you would tap this converter onto regular speaker wire, then from this converter, you would take RCA into amp...hope this helps..
