Had a great time on this shoot! Gorgeous Jetstream paint with Strasse S5 wheels (20x10 and 20x13). The wheels actually have matte black spokes with gloss black lips, I think the color combo really works nicely.

These are lit with a single wireless 580EXII flash...

Had to test out my new Alienbees studio lights I picked up. Took these back at the shop with two B800 lights, as well as my 580EXII.

And then another version of the rig shot, we wanted to get a straight shot with both cars in the picture, I really like how this one came out. Next time I'm going to try to get both cars going around a corner, should be fun.

great shoot Ray, awesome set of vettes too. Personally I think flash shots can be distracting when the reflections are so obvious, like in 3, 4 and a little bit in 5. Just my $.02, you obviously know what you're doing just a difference in tastes I guess. Last shot looks awesome. A high res of that, or #1 or #2 would make a sweet wallpaper.

I have such a weakness with rig shots, my weakness being I always try and find the editing of the polls haha.

Shots look great. I was going to ask if you had tested out the bees yet, but you answered that.

Yeah I know what you mean, the helicopter made a lot of the shots but the reflections of it in the car(s) sucked! Some of the shots I did a lot of cloning and brushing to get rid of major reflections, others I left alone. Just went on how I felt with each shot. Thanks for the critique though, always looking for ways to improve. :)

haha the pole was on the roof, and there was a nice reflection of the pole going down the windshield, hood, and fender.

And I actually just got my Vagabond II power system for the bees and my FlashZebra powerpack for my 580EXII, so I'm all good to go. Really can't wait for my next location shoot because I'll be able to use all my lights together. :D
