Swapping valve cover question

hey im looking to maybe get this.

is it worth it?
and would there be chance that it could be damaged or warped?
and what would i need to get this on my car besides a new gasket?
or should i just go to a junk yard in my area for one?

u could just take ur current valve cover off and paint it?

buy it and a new gasket set

paint it, install gasket, install on head
