Having issues taking off the front rotor on my 02 coupe I4.

Got the calipers off (finally), having trouble with the next step:
- do i have to unscrew the two screws that are there/
- or the big hexagon bolt thing in the middle?

Thanks in advance guys!

the two screws... ull probably need a impact driver. They sell them at Autozone, PepBoys, any auto part store i assume.

Yup... those little screws are fun! Thanks OSHA!

You might need to pound the rotor off too. If you're replacing them, no big deal. IF you plan on reusing them, put a thick towel between the hammer and the rotor.

the two screws hold the rotors. the "hexagon bolt" holds the hub on.

EDIT: you really want to put a lot of force into the screw and turn slowly. because if you srtrip those then good luck getting the rotor off now. also like finch said after you get the screws out they might be stuck. use something to hammer it out. it usually gets rusted on. if you can use a towel, i usually use a piece of wood, and just hammer it outward. use common sense to figure which way to hammer it out. also if you do hammer it out put on a lug nut or two so the rotor doesn't just fall on the floor if you're still keeping them.
