Looking to get new tires for my 99 Accord LX Sedan I4. Car was previously on all 205/65R15 for about 5 years until April 2015. Front tires are Firestone Affinity Touring in 195/65R15. Only put in about 8000 miles on them. Recently my rear right tire had a blowout on the highway and in its place now is a spare 195/65R15 Michelin X Radial DT tire. I only need 2 tires, but I might consider a whole set if the price is right and whether I stay on 195/65R15 or go with 205/65R15. Which brings me to the next question...

Should I get 205/65R15 or stick with the original size 195/65R15? 2 or 4 tires? Any brand recommendations? I know Michelin and Continental are good, but they're out of my budget. My bros have recommended Yokohama since they had good experience with them. Looked into the YK580 and AVID Ascend. The Yokohama YK580 is in stock at my nearest Discount Tire at $100 per tire, and the AVID Ascend is about $80 (195/65R15) or $83 (205/65R15) per tire on Tire Rack. Stuck between these 2 at the moment.

Does anyone else have experience with these specific tires or just the brand in general?

195/65/15 is the factory size to the best of my knowledge. A 205/65 will have a larger outer diameter, and may confuse the wheel speed sensors/ABS.

Considering the low mileage on your other tires, I would only two with the same brand and size tires as on the front.

I can personally vouch for the yokohama YK580's. I have them on my car currently, although my size is 225/45/17's and I'm lowered ~ 3" I also have the same year and model as you. But they're a good tire, and I got mine from America's Tire (Discount Tire) too. I don't think there will be a speedo issue, although you can ask Discount Tire. My sister's 09' Focus also has them now. They ride well on her car too and hers is stock. She also got them in the same exact size you're wanting. I've had mine in since this past Feb, no problems with them. They have good performance (not conti DW or some pilots though, lol) and good tread life (45k miles I believe, though now that I think about it, that could jsut be for my size because mine have a higher speed rating, your tread life would probably be greater). I'd definitely recommend them to someone not looking for extreme performance.

I decided to get a whole set of YK580s in 195/65. The 205/65s were out of stock when I asked, but not a big deal. Also gonna sell my Firestone tires. Thanks.

you've already made your choice...but 195/65/15 is stock size for the i4's, so i'd stick with that to keep your speedo as close to correct as possible. as far as brands, i've always liked hankooks and would recommend them, but you've already bought something else haha.
