tranny help

so when i step on the clutch its makes a loud knocking noise but its only when i step on the clutch the throwout bearing is new can someone please tell me what may be the issue?

Who did the bearing?
If it wasn't put in right it could have gone out alredy

The motor and trans was taken apart for some motor work when the build was done it started to make the noise so I bought new clutch, flywheel and throw out bearing replaced it and it still makes the noise

Was the pilot bearing replaced also?

Idk u say it makes the noise when u push in the clutch. The pilot bearing turns with the same RPMs as the motor.
It sounds more like a throw out bearing 2 me.
What work was done 2 the car?

When I first got the car it was mixing anti/oil so redid the head gasket wasn't the head gasket so replaced the block and resurfaced the head. No tranny work what so ever other than taking it off and putting it back on
