transmission cooler

What do you guys think about using transmission coolers. Ive been looking into them and i really dont see a reason not to spend 50 dollars on one, if it makes my tranny last a little longer, why not. Just wondering if u guys think its worth it. thanks

What year is your car? If it has high miles and is out of the tranny extended warranty, then by all means get it.

the car has 82K on it and my tranny is covered by the extended warranty

Eh, If you take it in for tranny service, better pull off the cooler..it'll void the warranty.

Yup, believe me I had one and they tried saying that could have been the cause of my tranny going out. Which makes no sense but that's Honda and warranties for you.
