True Short Shifter

does any know if they make a true short shifter? i already got a short shifter adaptor acouple years ago and it only shortten the thrown by .5" maybe but the shifter it selve is to long. though of cuttin it puttin on a universal knob that are held in with a sleeve and allen screw

Either PSPEC ($200 poorer) or hacksaw and die set to make a new thread, and ~2 hours of your time. That's what I did. I cut 2" off, AFTER threading it to fit the knob.. I also have the Fidanza short-shift adapter. Shifts beautifully.
