Yikes. Lol.

Well, do you guys have any suggestions as to where I can buy the individual parts? The thing is, that without ever having installed a turbo before, I don't really know what parts I need. I get the whole turbo, manifold, intercooler part, but I am not sure about all the piping and smaller things like the oil catch can, etc.

I am still considering this kit just a starting point for my turbo - once I see how everything fits (or doesn't fit) together, I can replace/upgrade parts as I go. I know the price is heavy, but if I learn from this install, I can use that knowledge in the future to make a better kit.

Thanks for your input so far. :)

Don't be hasty and jump into something you might regret later. There is a whole community here that is willing to help and infact there are several turbo builds happening right now. I would suggest looking through the current builds taking place and seeing what kinds of parts they are using.

As a start, here are a list of things to get and some possible places to get them:

(275)turbo manifold: http://www.spoolinperformance.com/c....html?osCsid=4a9d1f5dce58e70990e8e5b21f3fc081

(1200)engine management: http://www.aemonly.com/electronics-...40/aem-ems-for-accord-2-3l-1998-2002-788.html

(200)wideband fuel sensor/gauge: http://www.aemonly.com/wideband-air-fuel-85/aem-wideband-uego-air-fuel-ratio-gauge-250.html

(1200)turbo: http://www.spoolinperformance.com/garrett-gt3076r-p-54.html?osCsid=35ef60f18aeba0cf4d41f499ffdffe8c (A little on the pricier side but def a great 4 cylinder turbo. Water cooled and ball bearing ;). You will need an oil restricter for any ball bearing turbo btw)

(99*4)injectors: http://www.rceng.com/Saturated-Injector-SL4-0650H-Honda-style-top-P61C6.aspx

(225)wastegate: http://www.spoolinperformance.com/t....html?osCsid=88045953f555fa04e51d4416f965c141

(99)fuel pump: http://treperformance.com/i-133137-honda-accord-walbro-255-lph-fuel-pump-1994-2002.html

(245)Blow off valve: http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchan...tp&Product_Code=TIL-BOV-007&Category_Code=BOV

Just as a note these items are on the more baller side of the spectrum. You can get everything much cheaper if you go like Chrome perhaps for an EMS, or get DSM injectors, or a journal bearing turbo. It all depends on what you have the money for, and what your goals are. Be realistic right from the beginning and have a solid plan.

Thanks very much for the info. I will be spending some time delving into that.

Quick question: I got a p14 ECU yesterday from an old Prelude that my friend's buddy was parting out. Can those be made to work with a Hondata s300? Has anyone ever tried that route? Or do I go with the p28 + s300?

Either P28 chipped with Hondata S300, or just a standalone S300 ECU, whatever options is more available or cheaper for you. If you're baller, you'll just get up and go with an AEM EMS.

Only question I have is why turbo a daily?

As long as it is done right ....why not. My car has been running strong for 4 years. Daily driven, many trips between Rochester and CT. I say it's as reliable as any other car.

There is a local seller selling a p72 chipped for an s200 + s200 unit + OBDII to OBDI conversion harness for $470. I researched a little and it seems like they both handle boost. Question: can a p72 that's chipped for an s200 be used with an s300, or are the connections different? Would the s200 suffice for good boost control? I'm not baller enough for an AEM EMS yet. :p

Because then you'll be boss dog and have lots of friends.

I didn't start this thread and I'm not trying to take over either but I'm going the turbo route also. I"m going to do it using the the G23 setup. I'm not too sure how reliable the g23 swap is and once i go boost how much better it would be either. I"ve had my accord since 01, in 06 it got sent to be build and never got done right. now i got it back in 2011!!! i will never sell her lol.. i wanna boost a g23 as a reliable daily. A good tune is the most important thing right? what do you have to worry about the most in maintaining a boosted car?
