I just made some pannels with some jb weld, pvc pipe and fiberglass. It's easy if you take your time. I haven't color matched the vinyl as i haven't found the right color, haven't been looking. But at somepoint i will, 10 min job.

yeah I did pretty much the same thing except used a bondo like product made for plastics. I was having a hard time getting them as smooth as I would have liked though, haven't decided if I'm going to redo them now or just put them in the car as is and come back to them at some point in the future when I'm bored

The first ones i did, for my talon, i painted them, it took a long time to get them to look right. THis time i just covered them with vinyl and was done with it. I used some filler but it didn't need to be perfect at all.

The Boston Acoustics tweeters are not there by my choice, done by the previous owner. They'll soon be replaced by a set or Type-R's.
