It's gonna suck I'm gonna have to wait to do this until next year buuuut, what is the gearing ratio difference for say h23 5spd and f23 5spd? Or even better, what's gonna go best with an f23 that's gonna be built/boosted after a tranny swap?

i just told you in the other thread.

F23 is the best 4cyl tranny to use with boost.
the longer gears alow more time between shifts to spool and build boost.

Derr, ok, I'll search for that then. A 98 accord just got to one of the 4 pull-a-parts near me (I get emailed when a 98-02 dies and goes there to be an organ donor)

Can we get a list of the discontinued parts? I'm putting together a parts list, i'd like it to be complete.

I have a h22 trans heading my way at end of the month...

Great write up ..! :omghi2u:

I've looked up all available parts you've put down to get on the majestic honda site, totals around $800+ for everything I could find (with pictures).. which is why i say the missing parts' location would be useful! :)

I found my h22 trans for 300$ shipped. so it's safe to say this project is gonna cost me over a grand when I'm all said and done...
