Here we are at Day 1: May 18th, 2013!

Believe it or not, this picture right here has a strange story to it. So around early May of 2013 about a few weeks before I turned 16, my brother made his first Confirmation. My mom and I both took pictures on our phones (I got the better ones ) and she wanted me to put the photos I took on her phone. We both have Samsung Galaxy S3s so we can do that touch bump thing to transfer files (NFC/S Beam). Well after I "bumped" phones, I went into my mom's photo gallery to see what photos she had and what she didn't. Expecting to find all Confirmation photos I see a picture of this Honda sent by my grandfather (I didn't know he sent it I thought it was from an ad like Craigslist or eBay). I looked at it closely and it dawned on me and I suddenly got the feeling that it was (or would become) mine. Not wanting to raise suspicions, I kept quiet for a few days and took this picture from her phone and put in on mine just in case. Until one night my mom asked if I had put the photos I had taken that night at Confirmation on her phone. I told her I did and that I found something else. I found it strange she knew rather quickly what I was referring to and she immediately told me that it was sent to her by a co-worker that told her it was for sale (LIE) it was really in my grandparents' garage! How could I have not noticed with my grandmothers' white 7th gen sedan peeking in the back?! Anyway, she told me to not get my hopes up because it wouldn't be mine and told me it was impossible to get a car without having plates for it first. Not thinking about it, I accepted the fact that it was true and the Accord was not for me. Until the morning of May 18th, 2013 after I had just parked in the driveway for the first time with my driver's license. As I got out my mom raced to the garage and mashed the keypad to open the door. As I stood there and the door slowly raised, I saw what I had expected all along with my two brothers and grandparents there to welcome the Accord to my house's Honda family. This car has been a huge part of me and has had it's ups and downs (Accident [Jan. 2014] [Blown transmission Sept. 2014]) and all around is a great memory-maker. That moment led to this entire thread and I am happy for you guys to able to see my small contribution since I am low on money and need more of it for college rather than my car, so until then I'll do what I can. Enjoy!
