hey,

i been trying to find a solution to cover up the ugly dot matrix in our cars, and i searched the forums and found that vinyl film is the best way to do it. But i seached on ebay, and found two different types of vinyl films. One is static cling, and the other is adhesive backed film. I am not sure which to choose since the dot-matrix has a textured pattern, and am worried that the adhesive backed film might not stay on there.

which one do i need to go with. Any help is appreciated.

Static Cling Vinyl

um, adhesive backed unless you want it to go flying off the first time you drive with it on

My windows are tinted over it and it's held up fine.

word. if your tint shop knows what theyre doing and are good at it, they can cover the matrix. in my old sedan it was covered by the tint and looked fine the whole time i had the car while it was tinted. but yes, this does work, its just like a big black sticker on the back window at the top.
