VTec Malfunction, After replacing Vtec Solenoid

I have a F23a1 and I have the Vtec Malfunciton error code. I got it about 2 weeks ago. Since then I changed my oil to see if that was the cause. Than 2 days later the same error happened. So i went to the junk yard and I replaced the Solenoid top/bottom piece. and still the same problem. I am trying to sell the car but this is the only thing stopping me from selling it. What else could cause this problem?

Is your VTec actually working and you're just getting the error code? Or is it not working?
When my VTec stopped working, my car didn't throw an error code at all- it just stopped having that VTec punch at higher RPMs.
I would go ahead and remove the small housing between the solenoid and the cylinder head, and check the filter inside to see if it's blocked.

Did you change the oil pressure switch or move it over from the old assembly?
