What'd you do to your accord today?

Got in the car to leave tonight. Driver's side headlight is out. Got out of the car and back in the house.

Now I need to replace the bulb and was planning on HID's but so many people are against them in the stock housing so I was like meh I'll get bulbs. There are some threads recommending HIR bulbs and those cost more than the ebay HID kit that my friend has on his 7th gen. Why? Anyways, now I'm thinkin just regular halogen bulbs til I figure out a retrofit option.
