Whats this part called? need help...

hey guys i went through a few threads and i couldn't find this n if they already made a thread for this plz don't attack me lol....

OK well i put a CAI on my car that i got from my cousin and as you all know(people that have a CAI) the intake goes into the bumper. i was wondering whats the name of the plastic cover that goes under the car that covers the motor underneath and it also goes around the tires... i need to purchase this because the one on my car is all broken and the intake is really exposed and you can actually see it just by looking at the wheel area. i'm scared that the intake may suck in water and hydrolock my motor so i was planning to buy this part and also buying a hydro-shield for more protection. thanx for the help guys i appreciate it.

splash shield or splash guard I ran mine like that for like a yr no water problems ....

if you can see it buy looking in through where the wheel is, the part youd need is the fender liner.

yeah i think i need the fender liners and the engine splash shield... im just going to buy the whole thing...

You should also try and buy an hydroshield(injen) or bypass valave (aem) depending on ur cai, cuz I got all what ur trying to buy but my intake filter still gets wet nonetheless..jussayin

yeah thanx... yeah i looked into a hydro shield and im going to buy it as well i think with that my intake will be more protected...

If you buy a fender liner, be sure to buy some fender liner clips too. I think you need about 10? And you need 4 screws that should bolt onto the side skirt area. I'm not sure where to find the bolts as mine were still stuck on my car when my fender liner flew off. However, all the fender liner clips fell off so I had to buy new ones. Just to let you know, if you get a fender liner off ebay it isn't oem and when you install it, it might not stick on as well as the OEM one was bolt one. There's a slight gap between mine so yeah.
